August 30th

Wow! It's hard to believe we've been here for two months. I started work this past week at an engineering company. I really like the work. We use a 3D modeling program to create the drawings and it's really interesting work. The company is building modules and pressure vessels that will become an oil processing plant on site in Canada. It's a contract job that I got through Monster.com. I've been contacted five times by staffing agencies in the last week! Looks like Pete is going to be hired by South Carolina Dept of Natural Resources. They are looking for a maintenance mechanic and Pete is that!

Here is a picture of the new entertainment center we got two weeks ago. I haven't finished putting things on it yet. Haven't decided what to use where! This is just weird. We've gotten this leather furniture. Today, we picked some pillows to use with it and they changed the tone of the leather from brown to PLUM!!

So hope you are all happy and healthy. Would love to hear from you, doesn't need to be important, just let me know you're still there.
Love ya, Yvonne

Those plum colored cows, gee whiz.
I don't usually like entertainment centers, but that one is very cool.
Congrats on the job, Yvonne. It does not seem like two months to mee either.

Hi Cel! 3rd year EFM, church history. My class looked forward to getting the answers to the eternal question "What the ... got us from there to here!" And at the end of the year I thought, Damn those unanswerable questions! I've pondering things that are unknowable! Who knew these questions were unknowable and didn't tell me?

Please say hello from me to Mary Beth. Wasn't Claudia Franz in your class, too? She has such a peaceful aura and a lovely voice. I'm going to miss being at the Women's Retreat in January where I usually got to see Claudia and a lot of others that I didn't get to say farewell to. Of course this is all going to be senseless if I am wrong about Claudia being in your class...

There is a Beth Moore study starting next week at the church that I'm going to participate in.

How are your cats doing? And your brothers? Any fun shenanigans to share?

FYI, I can't send email to Jenn at her yahoo account anymore. If she has a new email, ask her to let me know! Love back.
